This experience includes designing a new center from scratch: picking out everything from fixtures to furniture to finishes, drafting an operational budget and business plan for new centers, and managing multiple centers at once.As part of the Bissell Family of Companies, Ballantyne Business Center boasts over 25,000 square-feet of office space and a conference center of 3,500 square feet. The Center was profitable and near occupancy during my tenure. We formed the Zen Den to add a relaxation space for clients and their guests to meet. Under my direction, Ballantyne Business Center became the first serviced-office facility in the state of North Carolina to upgrade to a blazing-fast 10Mb Internet circuit. With a staff of four in addition to myself, our clients received top-notch service meeting business needs from the conference planning to administrative support.
