About Amanda Shi
I am currently a senior at Rutgers Honors College, pursuing a Major in Accounting and a Minor in Sustainability. Currently I have a 3.97 GPA. In my current position I act as a Teaching Assistant for Rutgers Business School's Accounting Department. I am committed to tutoring accounting courses to my peers, and fostering a supportive learning environment. At the same time, I am able to refine my understanding of accounting topics in this rewarding position. During my time at Rutgers ENACTUS, I acted as the External Lead for two projects which focused on sustainability. Enactus is a network of leaders committed to using business as a catalyst for positive social and environmental impact. We educate, inspire, and support young people to use innovation and entrepreneurship to solve the world’s biggest problems. There I led weekly meetings, conducted research, and managed workflow for the members of the project. These experiences have enhanced my time management skills, teamwork skills and leadership skills.
