I am the Design Ops Lead in the Design Studio at Bayer and my goal is to optimize our people, processes, and practices as well as amplify design’s value and impact at scale.Responsibilities:-Assumed responsibility for supporting over 130+ designers with events, up-skilling, design software updates, and communications to help them accelerate their design roles at Bayer.-Kept the design organization up-to-date on the latest trends with practitioner roles, education, and tools available to execute best-in-class, innovative design work.-Lead the iteration of our division-wide onboarding experience for new designers and co-led Bayer’s first design intern program. -Delivered highly praised, virtual onboarding website for our global remote employees.-Co-created unique communities of practice for UX Designers, User Researchers, and those supporting Discovery & Design Thinking facilitation.-Recruited guest speakers, facilitated lean coffee discussions, hosted Design Forum talks, and advocated for design across our business and IT teams.-Sought out budgetary redundancies, circulated professional development opportunities, and conducted touchpoints with key contacts for our Enterprise tooling licenses (Figma, UserZoom/UserTesting, Miro, etc).-Fostered a culture of inclusion, collaboration, cohesion, and creative problem-solving.

Responsibilities:-Participated in the redesign of a Sales Forecasting application, from initial Discovery to final delivery of high-fidelity Figma mockups and Prototypes.-Engaged in initial and continuous Discovery and created low-fidelity conceptual designs.-Conducted bilingual user interviews in English and Spanish, analyzed results, and shared them with stakeholders.-Created unmoderated usability tests in UserZoom.-Developed User Personas and Customer Journey maps based on user feedback.-Translated concepts into user flows, wireframes, medium and high-fidelity Figma mockups, and clickable prototypes in English and Spanish.-Collaborated directly with remote and offshore engineering teams to address design concerns and ensure technical feasibility.-Ensured that design decisions aligned with business goals and requirements.

Responsibilities:-Created wireframes, designs, and Figma prototypes that addressed end-user needs.-Utilized the Salesforce Lightning Design System and internal Bayer Element Design System.-Developed production-quality branded assets for web and mobile teams.-Effectively communicated the “why” of the design to help the team understand the value of design decisions and UX best practices.-Built collaborative partnerships and continuous feedback loops between design, development, and stakeholders to improve our product and align with business goals.

Creating and presenting Spanish lessons and activities aligned with the national ACTFL standards.Building a safe and trusting environment where concerns can be voiced without fear or judgement.Oversee and manage scope, timeline, quality, and goals of instruction and student progress.Facilitate learning, discussion, and conflict resolution in a classroom of 25+ high school students.Record attendance, grades, and discipline, as well as maintain contact with students and parents.Responding to and mediating conflict through a Trauma-Informed lens with an emphasis on partnering and problem solving.

I was a peer teacher for Elementary Spanish I (SPAN 101) and Spanish Conversation (SPAN 340). All students in these classes were required to attend tutoring regardless of their level of proficiency. There were ten hourly sessions per week in which I was provided an outline of exercises and concepts to review with the students. If any concepts were unclear, I helped the students to better understand the material. Additionally, I recorded attendance and held the students accountable for being present.I have also peer taught for Intermediate Spanish I (SPAN 201) and Intermediate Spanish II (SPAN 202).
