Oversaw creation of two short micro-biological visualizations using Maya, After Effects and Photoshop. Led team of eight and was the main point of contact for the client. Set the schedule, oversaw work pipeline and ensured we met targeted deadlines. Headed up lighting the scenes, and contributed to storyboards, UVs and texturing. Handled issues as they arose, and strove to anticipate and sidestep other potential problems. The short movies illustrate clearly the developmental stages of bacterial biofilm and how it relates to severe chronic infections. They will become part of a larger movie that will be shown to both the medical community and the general public to raise awareness and to help change the way chronic infections are treated around the world. The movie is scheduled for release in Q1 of 2011.
