Gaining a First Class Honors Degree in Fashion Design and Production, I am experienced in:• Creating womenswear patterns from blocks to advanced pattern design and construction.• Completing fit sessions from samples and updating changes by manipulating patterns.• Designing and manufacturing a complete collection from research stage to creating prints using adobe photoshop, illustrator and screen printing methods.• Experience as a junior buyer, building relationships with overseas suppliers and following critical path, ordering samples for new ranges and liaising with garment technologists on sample fit sessions.• My degree collection consists of a ten piece, real leather range. Heavily embellished jackets were created to create a rock and roll theme. Through this process I built a great supplier chain as a variety of leathers and suede, studs and diamante details were incorporated. • Arranging fashion shows, photo shoots and brochures for collections.• Strong designing and pattern cutting skills with a keen willingness to develop and continue to grow in the fashion industry.
