I am an independent management consultant offering business advisory services. I specialize in strategic planning, performance management, strategic communications, business case development and financial analysis. A summary of my experience and accomplishments is presented below:- Analyzed the current IM/IT capital investment framework, interviewed service owners and finance/accounting experts to understand pain points, and developed recommendations for implementing a new digital investment model.- Conducted an organizational review of the natural resources department of a B.C. First Nation; made recommendations on implementing a new organizational structure including revised job descriptions.- Conducted comprehensive research across all Canadian provinces to provide insight and intelligence on K-12 education funding models to the Minister and Deputy Minister.- Developed an operational plan and outcome management framework with KPIs for the Office of the Auditor General.- Developed a communications strategy and plan for a multi-year business transformation initiative, and delivered a suite of communications to senior executive and staff audiences; products included presentations, briefing notes, animated videos, blogs, intranet content, and newsletters.- Led the development of a Treasury Board submission for a $50+ million capital investment in the Natural Resource Sector; elaborated on the benefit realization framework for the initiative to ensure intended outcomes are achieved.- Developed criteria to prioritize 400+ active First Nations files according to alignment to business objectives and risk, performed analysis and created a 'heat map' to illustrate findings.- Performed technical business analysis in support of the Integration and Reporting work streams of a SimCorp implementation at BC Investment Management Corporation

As a Senior Consultant in Deloitte’s Strategy & Operations practice, I provided exceptional business advisory services to public sector clients in a number of different industries. Samples of my project accomplishments include:- Developed a detailed financial model and authored a comprehensive business case to support a funding request for a multimillion dollar transformation initiative for a natural resource sector client; the business case received the highest score of all proposals submitted in 2013- Led the program management office and contributed to financial and contract management for a $180 million system implementation with a social services client - Engaged with senior executives at an insurance industry crown corporation to conduct an interdependency health check and report on the effectiveness of program leadership and governance for their $400 million transformation program- Led two functional work streams and developed a business case to identify opportunities for post-secondary institutions to save $50 million annually through alternative service delivery transformation - Developed and wrote multiple sales proposals which won work with public and private sector clients in Canada, the U.S., Australia, and the U.K.- Led and/or supported several volunteer initiatives related to improving the Deloitte talent experience (e.g. Moms@Work, Women in Consulting, Families in Consulting) as well as the community (e.g. United Way Fundraising Campaigns and Community Impact Day)

I provided business analysis, financial modeling, and tax and revenue management services to public sector clients in Canada and Latin America. In my consulting work, I:- Effectively led an assessment of revenue management performance of the Puerto Rico Treasury Department and identified opportunities to collect millions in additional tax dollars though targeted collection and enforcement activities; implementation of our recommended process and system changes resulted in $42 million in incremental revenue in the first six months of the project- Led the design, collection, and analysis of data for a comprehensive revenue management database to facilitate public sector benchmarking of revenue performance across all U.S states and Canadian provinces/territories; this database became a highly valued tool which was updated annually and used to generate sales- Led a team investigating the accuracy of property tax account balances for a government revenue client; developed sophisticated financial models and quality assurance processes to successfully identify and correct errors in 17,000 accounts - Won a BearingPoint Silver Compass Award for directly contributing to the sale of a $2 million project within my first six months with the firm- Promoted from Consultant to Senior Business Consultant after just eight months with the firm based on outstanding results and client feedback

I was responsible for developing relationships with business leaders and corporations for the purpose of raising financial support for UVic Business. My responsibilities and achievements included:- Directly supporting the Dean and Assistant Dean with major gift fundraising, external relations, and alumni relations- Effectively managing relationships with key members of the business community and planning major fundraising, business development, and alumni events- Exceeding the school's fundraising goal of $1.0 million in FY 2005/06 to support student scholarships and program improvements
