Star News and now known as ABP news was my third and most memorable assignment. As part of my endeavor i joined the company as it was a start up and i was looking forward to learn more from this experience.My key responsibility was Business Development- Sales. The TV market was emerging in a much faster speed and many new entrees made the competition tough. Already existing channels were at a faster speed of growth and the challenge was to sell and survive. I have chosen this second Job quickly after a small tenure in HT Media Ltd. Television Media revolution was just about to begin and I always had planned to be a part of it. Specially Start ups for better learning and experience.I Joined INDIA TV as Sr. Executive -Sales and Marketing. As a start up i was part of a small team and bigger challenges. As part of the Initial Team we were responsible for Channel Launch Strategy- MarketingChannel FPC and market researchChannel Introduction to Advertisers and ClientsBusiness Development -SalesThis tenure have been a great opportunity for me as it gave me inroads to strategy behind a channel launch, Overcome challenges of selling and marketing a new launch. Mostly the confidence and learning which cannot be achieved in an established brand.

I Started my Career with HT Media Ltd in 2003 as a Management Trainee - Through CampusMy first assignment was to establish relationship with the QBC's( Advertisement Responce Centres) of Hindustan Times and handled 9 such centers. Second assignment was to establish a new Advertising vertical/Category in the news paper section which was Computers and Hardware. The target was not just to launch but also match our inventory and revenue with Times of India ( competitor) which was well established in this space. I was instrumental in growing this vertical within 3 months and we were double in inventory and revenue.The Task included creating rate card for the category.Introducing the same to the advertisers Business development and inventory management
