CurrentCurrent job duties:• Assigned to lead the development of AI & Automation tools for schematic & placement automation.• Successfully released a product for schematic automation in OrCAD specific to a major client.• Leading AI & Automation team using Waterfall methodology on ClickUp.• Currently in talks with Altium, JITX, Cadence & FLUX AI for integration of AI in our design process.Previously:1. Layout Design for High-Frequency Load Boards:• I specialise in creating layouts for high-frequency applications, ensuring optimal signal integrity and minimising interference.• Employing advanced techniques to control impedance and manage signal speed within the layouts.• Utilizing my expertise in RF and microwave engineering to design boards that meet the stringent requirements of ATEs.2. Component Symbols and Footprints:• Creating component symbols and footprints, maintaining the PCB floor-plan prescribed by manufacturers.• Updating and maintaining component library to streamline the design process.3. Schematic Preparation Using Cadence OrCAD:• Preparing detailed schematics using industry-standard tools like Cadence OrCAD to meet customer specifications.• Implementation of Schematic Cosmetics for better understanding of the circuits.4. Meeting DFM and DFA Standards in Layout Design:• Implementing Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles to optimize the manufacturing and assembly processes.• Vigilantly addressing potential issues related to electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk during the design phase.• Conducting thorough design reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.5. Designing Up to 60+ Layers Board:• Successfully designing complex boards with up to 60+ layers, leveraging the capabilities of Cadence Allegro PCB Designer 17.2.• Managing the intricate layer stack-up to accommodate the specific needs of high-frequency applications.
