Hello, I am Aman Pandit and I have an interest in building products. I identify myself as a Product Manager, a Technophile, and a Generalist.I got into product management around mid 2021 when I discovered The Product Folks community on Twitter. I found that I loved working with customers. I also discovered that I like taking ownership and being accountable for my actions. I see technology as a means to simplify people's lives, I like listening to customers, understanding exactly what their issues are, being in sync with the business stakeholders to understand their thinking and create impactful products.After I graduated, I joined MortgageKart as a Product Manager. In 1.5 years of my experience as a Product Manager, I have enjoyed building products from end to end and working in dynamic start-up. In my current experience at MortgageKart, I have led the end-to-end development for two new lead-generation sources in our Mortgage Monitoring product. My colleagues jokingly call me the "Chameleon of MortgageKart", as I could blend into various environments, which helped me collaborate with various teams such as business, tech, design, testing, operations, etc.I have also worked on a range of other projects in the organization such as - the development of B2B CRM, enhancing the SEO of the website, Gen AI feasibility research, Calendly, Stripe, and UK EPC API integrations.Before I joined MortgageKart, to learn Product Management by building some proof of work I was a part of Real Dev Squad led by Ankush Dharkar. Over there I ideated a calendar system which enabled users to stay in sync with events, and was also responsible for creation and design of a gamified learning management system. It helped me a lot in understanding how to contribute in team, how to build products, how build is divided into phases and most importantly how to work in an async environment to understand the significance of communication and documentation.I like learning, and reading has a will to grasp skills with an interest in Finance, Business, Startups, and Product Management.
