The role required robust analysis of complex policy issues, identification of potential solutions and collaboration with diverse stakeholders to co-design interventions & implement them.➢ Liaised with the leadership of various Federal Parliamentary Committees to help facilitate over 40 capacity-building workshops on various Parliamentary functions➢ Built a functional network & managed contacts with over 200 political leaders, civil society members, donor representatives, local/international experts and elected representatives➢ Sub-grant manager for a two year long project organized in collaboration with the Federal Parliament Secretariat which included activities in over 55 districts of the country. Under my management, the grant was extended due to positive donor & stakeholder appraisal➢ Analyzed political/policy developments to inform design, strategy and implementation➢ Developed internal/external presentations, policy briefs and implementation tracking mechanisms in collaboration with headquarters in Washington DC➢ Worked with senior leadership on annual work plans, proposal development, funding application, narrative reporting, bilateral and multilateral partners and donor engagement➢ Worked closely with the finance department on managing project budgets, including entering projections vs. actuals, forecasting, reviewing monthly financial reports etc➢ Led strategic communication for various activities within the project. National Natural Resource and Fiscal Commission - Government of NepalResearcher for “Assessment of Provincial and Local Level Socioeconomic Disparity Status in Nepal”- Nepal’s first measure of the social and economic disparity at the federal level. The study was conducted in collaboration with a team from Kathmandu University. ➢ Established a robust methodology after rounds of stakeholder discussions and expert input➢ Identified feasible and related dimensions and their specific indicators for Nepal's context.➢ Collected data from multiple government institutions and managed the subsequent database➢ Used SPSS and Excel for analytics.

Intern at the Himalayan Climate Initiative (HCI) - HCI is a youth-driven Nepali civil society organization. HCI delivers impact by incubating and sustaining social-entrepreneurial initiatives.➢ Project coordinator "Navtar- The Upcyclers": The project collaborated with schools in Kathmandu Valley to promote upcycling. ➢ Campaign coordinator at "No Thanks! I carry My Own Bag" - a youth led campaign to ban the use of polythene bags in Kathmandu.➢ Leader at "The Gen Nep Impact" - A youth empowerment platform which provided resources for the Nepali youth to be factors of change. ➢ Team Member with the "Hamri Bahini - The Green Angels" - Hamri Bahini empowers Nepali women via green social entrepreneurs ventures and action-based advocacy.
