As an Android Developer Intern at Telelab (AFL), I played a pivotal role in developing an app called 'AFL' for the Government of Haryana. The app had a financial outlay of INR 81,12,000 and aimed to provide a platform for farmers and industry professionals to buy and sell agricultural products. My key responsibilities included:Designing and building the eCommerce part of the app, consisting of more than 50 UI screens, which enabled farmers and industry professionals to browse and purchase products with easeIntegrating the app with a backend, calling more than 30 APIs for data validation and authorization, which resulted in a 15% reduction in the app's crash rate and a 20% improvement in its overall performanceCollaborating closely with the project team, including project managers, designers, and other developers, to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and resolve any technical issues that aroseThrough my work on the AFL app, I gained valuable experience in Android development and honed my technical skills in designing and building complex user interfaces.
