I have been involved with the Automotive industry in some respect for the past 15 years, but my passion for cars and the car business started far before then. As a child I was infatuated with cars, and as I became older I became increasingly interested in how they worked. From having pictures of sports cars plastered on my bedroom walls, to being elbow deep in a major engine rebuild, its safe to say I have satisfied those childhood queries. I have climbed the ladder in the automotive service field one rung at a time. From apprentice technician, to Service/Fixed Operations manager. I've spent years on the shop floor, learning, diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, and most importantly teaching others. I have worked with light duty passenger vehicles, classic cars, pick up trucks, large fleet accounts, heavy trucks, school buses and many other things in between. To a similar degree, I've had the opportunity to engage with customers, ensure their concerns are being addressed adequately, and that their expectations are being exceeded with each service visit. Having worked on every level of the automotive service sector, I feel as though I provide a unique perspective. Having the knowledge that technicians respect on the shop floor, and the ability to articulate the nature of repairs to customers in terms that they can understand, helps me bridge the gap between front office, shop floor, and most importantly the customer. Exciting times are ahead in the transportation sector, and I am happy to be a part of it all.
