The client appreciated the report and it resulted in further work of 5 projects being awarded to Wapcos.Responsible for managing and delivering 8 projects across India.

•Responsible for defining the corporate vision and executing the corporate strategy for the organisation.•Led a team of 1500 individuals to deliver the 170 million (INR) project of construction of India–Afghanistan friendship dam. It was a high visibility project jointly monitored by Prime minister office of India and President of Afghanistan. Despite constant security threats and extreme sub zero weather challenges the project was successfully delivered within agreed timelines and dam was jointly inaugurated by PM of India and President of Afghanistan in 2016.•As part of the executive management team (2ndin command) was responsible for an increase in average growth rate of revenue by 21.6 % per annum from 2010 to 2016.•As head of human resources implemented policies to increase the talent acquisition outreach of the organisation and reduced staff turnover by 10 % between 2010 to 2016.•Directly responsible for delivery 90 projects out of which 20 were of national importance.•As head of Bhutan operations delivered several projects successfully and established long term client relationships, was awarded by a letter of appreciation by client in 2007.•Presented a solution to President of India post the Mumbai floods of 2005. The solution was developed keeping in mind the socio-economic fabric of the city and was appreciated by the president.Turned around the failing Ports and Harbour division on the brink of closure to one of the most profitable business units in the organisation in 2001. Raised revenue by 8 times to approximately 131 million (INR). Established long term client relationships to ensure a pipeline of work and also established a strong work culture which ensured sustained profitability.•Project lead of an integrated project of water resources, agriculture, watershed development and socio economics of Suluh valley, Mekelle, Ethiopia in 2001.  During 1986-1988 as 2nd in command of regional office Inland Waterways Authority of India, Patna. In-charge of Patna -Farrakka Stretch of the National waterway no -1. Development and maintenance off National Waterway No. 1, the Ganga River for river navigation Including Construction of River Training Works, Infrastructure work and Navigational Aid (marking of navigable waterway) in River Ganga (480 km stretch).  Organized the inauguration of first national waterway of India for its development for navigation
