My job responsibilities with CMIE included:Industry Analysis:Analysing industry's demand-supply scenario, studying financial performance of the industry, in-depth analysis of investments undertaken in the industry, forecasting the industry's market size and financial performance, writing monthly reports on sector prospects etc.I have tracked cement and paints sectors.Company Analysis:Analysing a company's performance over the last decade, in-depth analysis of its expansion plans, forecasting its growth potential, profitability etc. and writing reports on the same.I have written research reports on Berger Paints, HNG and Chettinad Cement.

To study the scope of treasury services like Forwards, Futures, Options in Karnataka region. Gathered data regarding foreign exchange transactions and hedging done by the Karnataka listed companies during the last financial year and estimated the total market scope for treasury services.
