Hello! My name is Amara and I'm in my final year working towards a BFA in Studio Art at The University of Texas at Austin. I'm also pursuing a certificate in Digital Arts and Media. I work in a variety of different mediums, including digital illustration, oil painting, charcoal, graphite, ink, papermaking, printmaking, and photography.I currently work for the University's student led newspaper, The Daily Texan, as a Senior Comic Illustrator. All of my art work is created digitally, and typically published every other week. I'm the Co-Head of the Treasury department for Texas Creative Union Project (TCUP), a organization that plans art markets on campus for student artists. I also work with the Texas Science & Natural History Museum as a part of the Visitor Services team.
