If there is anyone that loves learning it is me! Expanding my knowledge and experience in the mental health field is my main goal at the moment and most likely will be forever. I am a targeted case manager for adults. This job has much personal gain as I can truly help those that have proven to have difficulties navigating through the system. I can not only assist them with many needs to help progress their treatment but I also get first hand experience working with many roles (ex: PCP, psychiatrist, courts, insurance, and so much more). I also currently work as a mental health technician at an acute psychiatric facility part time and really enjoy it. This has shown to be a great experience to view and hear patients stories and backgrounds. When patients start to escalate in behaviors I can be of immediate need to really understand and aid in the root of the problem before things become troublesome. Mental illness has an unfortunate stigma and I want to be part of the change to that. I have received my bachelors degree from University of Central Florida in clinical psychology. I am now working towards my masters degree in Forensic Psychology with Nova Southeastern University.
