About Mari Manoogian

Hon. Mari Manoogian is the political director at The Next 50, an organization that supports the next generation of elected Democratic leaders by building their political and fundraising networks. Most recently, she was the Battleground Political and Coalitions Director for the Midwest at Harris for President. Manoogian flipped a historically Republican state house district and served two terms in the Michigan House of Representatives. She was the House Democrats Deputy Whip, Vice Chair of the Committee on Energy and treasurer of the Progressive Women’s Caucus. She also served as a member of the campaign board for the Michigan House Democratic Fund, raising six figures to help build power and ultimately flip the state legislature in 2022 In 2020, Manoogian was a Party Leader Elected Official (PLEO) delegate and a keynote speaker for the Democratic National Convention in 2020, nominating Joe Biden and Kamala Harris alongside other young leaders across the country. She was a Senior Advisor at New Blue Interactive during the 2022 election cycle, advising clients on digital fundraising and communications strategy.
