Worked on S.P.E.C.T.R.E tracking system. The objective of the system was to use GPS and barcode scanner enabled mobile devices interfacing with SOA services for real-time tracking of medical sample containers and report on chain of custody and inconsistencies in pickup/delivery schedules. Calgary SCOPE Society is a non-profit agency providing a wide range of high quality, innovative services that support people with disabilities to be respected, contributing members of Calgary's communities. Developed web based scheduling system, which aimed at flexible scheduling of support staff to provide services for people with disabilities. ASL Internet is an automotive Internet marketing and Internet solutions provider specializing in website development, online inventory management, Internet merchandising, Internet sales training, web analytics, and electronic data interchange (EDI). ASL's main focus is to generate Internet traffic, leads and sales for auto dealers coast-to-coast.- My responsibilities included, but not limited to, building Internet marketing and information tools for Automotive Dealers, specifically, and Automotive Industry in general.- Integrated automotive information provided by third-parties into our systems. This included, porting MS SQL Server based databases to PostgreSQL, keeping the databases up-to-date with daily feeds provided by their FTP servers, fine tuning and optimizing PostgreSQL, building front end plug-in(s) based on this data for our business models and providing web services based on this data for third parties as well as other departments in our organization.- Build a CMS for Canadian Auto Press (CAP). This CMS recorded automotive articles, reviews, road-tests etc. authored by CAP personnel and provided ATOM/RSS feeds for CAP customers.- Part of team engaged in integrating various existing systems within ASL Internet- Re-engineered AS Internet Gold book Systems from ASP, to work on FreeBSD. ASL Internet Gold book provides used car pricing data information various insurance agencies in Canada, Libraries, Universities and Automotive dealers- Team lead to build and maintain system to record, analyze and present information on Motorcycles, ATVs, Snowmobiles and watercraft.- Maintain existing code base and databases, including databases backups, stored procedures and triggers- Build C# .Net desktop applications interfacing with REST/SOAP services to meet business requirements of clients as well as internal to ASL Internet.

The process consisted of measuring log-diameters with scanners, calculating most optimal cut and sending information to saws to move accordingly to cut the log.
