About Amar Prakash

Currently pursuing a full-time MBA at Michigan Ross (Go Blue!) with a focus on strategy and technology. I’m actively involved as the AVP for the Detroit Initiative and a member of the Consulting, Tech and Fintech Clubs. Additionally, I’m part of the International Investment Fund, a student-led venture fund investing in early-stage startups from emerging markets.I bring nearly 5 years of experience from Gnani.ai, a deep-tech Conversational AI company leveraging GenAI to automate customer interactions for large B2C enterprises across industries like Banking, Insurance, Financial Services, Retail and Automotive. I played a pivotal role in driving business growth, securing marquee clients, expanding operations to the US, Middle East, and SEA, and developing the sales team. I also worked at Nuclei, a fintech firm providing white-labeled marketplace solutions to banks and telcos, where I led GTM expansion in SEA and strengthened regional sales operations.Beyond tech, I co-founded BluFin Foundation, a non-profit promoting grassroots sports and supporting differently-abled athletes, backed by Accel Partners and Kaleyra. We currently support 160+ orphaned kids and 12 professional disabled athletes.I also serve on the board and lead strategy at Let’s Be The Change, a multiple award-winning non-profit. Earlier in my career, I worked at Appiness Interactive managing a startup accelerator and a peer-to-peer service aggregation product.
