As an Urban Environment Specialist, I am passionate about creating sustainable and impactful solutions that integrate eco-friendly technologies and community-driven strategies to address critical challenges in urban sanitation, waste management, and environmental resilience. With extensive experience leading cross-sectoral projects across multiple Indian states, I have collaborated with government bodies, non-profits, and global organizations to design and implement climate-adaptive urban systems.Currently, I am leading technical efforts for the 'Doh Shaher, Ek Rupayan' initiative, a climate-urban transformation project in Assam, focused on building resilience in 10 cities through sustainable waste management, sanitation, and water systems. My background includes scaling Faecal Sludge Management (FSM) and Plastic Waste Management (PWM) initiatives in Odisha, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Maharashtra, where I successfully designed and operated Faecal Sludge Treatment Plants (FSTPs) and Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs). I have also developed MSW Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and City Sanitation Plans (CSPs) for multiple Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) in Karnataka, with the highlight being the design of a 550 TPD Municipal Solid Waste Plant for Mysuru.I am also the Founding Patron of Kayantar Foundation, an initiative committed to fostering equitable and regenerative ecosystems that empower communities toward long-term environmental sustainability.
