 Review of all vendor schematic drawings.  Preparation of Annunciation, Event/Fault recorder point summary as per requirement. Preparation of CT adequacy study. Load Flow study, Transient stability study by using MiPower,PRDC. Control and protection panel interconnection cable schedule. Preparation of relay settings documents for Generator, Line, Transformer,Motor and Busbar. Configuring and testing of Relays/IEDs.  The Short circuit analysis study, relay co-ordination analysis using MiPower Software. Co-ordination with vendor at each stage of design & engineering activities. Ordering materials for project execution. Arc flash study of the HT & LT switchgear.

 Upgraded the old ABB make static Generator, Generator transformer and UAT Protection relays with new numerical relays. Involved in the detail engineering, relay setting calculation and commissioning/Testing of the relays. Upgraded the old ABB make static 220KV Line protection relay with numerical relay. Involved in the detail engineering, relay setting calculation and commissioning/Testing of the relays. Upgraded the electromechanical motor protection relays with numerical relays. Involved in the detail engineering, relay setting calculation and commissioning/Testing of the relays. Testing of MiCOM products involving Px20 and Px30 and Px40 series. Testing and commission of relays like ABB make REG 670 (Generator protection relay with injection unit),RET 650(Transformer protection relay),REL 670(Line/distance protection relay),REF 615(Feeder Protection relay). Analyze and troubleshoot issues on electrical circuit. Modification of electrical circuit for smooth and safe function of equipments. Completed repairing of the 240MVA generator transformer winding and bushing work. Theoretical background in power system, transmission and philosophy of protection. Experience in preparation of the technical spec. and tenders review. Analyzed event and disturbances and provided technical recommendations to enhance protection system.  Performed Relay short circuit / coordination studies for all possible power system scenarios / faults. Review of the relay setting of 210MW generator, generator transformer, transmission line and bus bar protection relay. Successfully completed the arc flash study of the HT & LT switchgear. Performed troubleshooting for secondary circuit (relay protection, instrumentation and control systems, etc.). Ensure all quality control records like test reports, equipment calibration certificates, design modification requests, commissioning anomaly reports, etc.
