Amar is the Executive Director and CFO of Haware Properties, one of India's leading real estate developers with projects across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Kalyan and the entire Mumbai Metropolitan Region. He heads the finance, accounting and construction departments of the group, while assisting the CEO in sales, marketing and land purchase departments. Prior to joining the Haware group, he worked with the Indiabulls Group in the investor relations and analytics department. He worked closely with the group Chairman Mr. Sameer Gehlaut and the Vice Chairman and Managing Director Mr. Gagan Banga in various investor relations activities. He has completed his MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management with a focus on real estate industry in India. At Thunderbird, he actively participated in all campus-wide activities and held several leadership roles. He has worked on multiple projects, including an assignment with Exxon Mobil in Indonesia. He has worked with various other clients on financial analysis, change management, marketing communications, brand management, portfolio management and competitive intelligence projects.Over the summer of 2012, he interned at a boutique investment bank in the San Francisco Bay Area focusing on M&A in the mid-market IT industry. As an analyst, he was instrumental in ensuring the timely execution of a sell-side engagement. Prior to joining Thunderbird, Amar was involved in multiple functions and industries in India, serving as a business development executive for Daily Bazaar (a small chain of retail stores in Mumbai) and as a real estate analyst at Haware Engineers and Builders (a real estate and construction company in Mumbai).
