I focus on using technology to help organizations make the most out of their data. I love designing reports that present information in a way that's intuitive and actionable, and I make sure end users get exactly what they need to drive their decisions.Great design is just one piece of the puzzle, though. Reporting solutions need to be accurate and return reports quickly, and that's why systems expertise is so important. I have experience with the full BI stack: database development, administration, and performance; ETL solutions to move, shape, and validate data; and BI platforms and reporting tools to design reports and deliver them to a range of users. I'm passionate about developing and maintaining robust BI systems to ensure that data goes where it needs to without a hitch.Beyond my BI expertise, I'm into anything that has to do with tech. I love to tinker with personal tech projects as well as read up on programming, information security, business and the tech industry, and how technology influences entertainment and culture. The tech world is always evolving rapidly, and all of these aspects influence each other in new ways. In order to help any IT organization perform at its best, I think it's important to keep an eye on the tech horizon and focus on where we need to go next.
