Hi, My name is Amari Merritt and I am originally from Dallas, Texas. I am a sophomore at Fordham with a 3.82 GPA, pursuing a degree in Finance. I am an introvert but I express myself creatively. I have a passion for video editing and I hope to combine that passion with a Finance degree to pursue a career that combines my interests. It could be something as simple as being a financial advisor for somebody who works in the film production industry or I am even okay with video editing being a simple hobby. I have been using programs such as Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro since I was in middle school. I tend to think about things analytically and I am a dedicated learner, so I thrive in challenging environments. I enjoy the process of learning new things even more than just the end goal. Due to this, I thrive in dynamic environments where I may go into projects or tasks concerning things I am not already familiar with, going hand in hand with adaptability. Despite my introverted nature, I enjoy working in teams and I am very skilled at analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of people and how they can fit into a team structure.
