Double majoring in Accounting and Business Administration with a Concentration in Human Resources at Indiana Tech, minoring in Mathematics, and holding the SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification, I am a hard worker determined to learn and grow. After completing my second year of college, I obtained a summer internship at Envisage Wealth - Ameriprise Financial. Throughout the internship, I participated in the Emerging Professionals Intern Career (EPIC) Program, which provided me with opportunities to listen and learn from department heads, advisors, and knowledgeable workers outside the company. Additionally, I worked on multiple projects, ranging from assisting in updating the onboarding process to crafting foundational financial plans. I earned second place in the EPIC Program competition, which was based on points awarded across categories including professional development, financial planning, investments, marketing, and community involvement.Following my summer internship, I returned to Indiana Tech and began an internship at Foster Financial Services. Here, I provided assistance in various areas, including meeting preparation and examining clients' portfolio reports, while also benefiting from exposure to a fiduciary business that advocates for a holistic approach to financial planning.After experiencing internships in financial services, I was able to partake in an internship in a different field. I am currently employed at Warner Electric, a Regal Rexnord Brand, where I provide help to the Finance and HR departments by performing analyses, aiding in the closing process, and preparing journal entries.Beyond academics and professional pursuits, I am a member of the Indiana Tech Women's Basketball team. Basketball has instilled numerous lessons in me over the years, with the main one being that consistency, hard work, and determination are necessary for achieving one's goals in every facet of life.
