I led the attainment of a very strong Ofsted inspection outcome in December 2015, which judged the College as consistently good in every graded category - a level of rating only achieved by the minority of colleges in England. I also developed and implemented a compelling case for a merger with a regional partner, which was complimented through the Ofsted inspection. During my time, we became the largest provider of apprenticeships in the South West region, and the 5th largest provider in England. Furthermore, I led the College towards the prospect of becoming the first college in the region to achieve Foundation Degree Awarding Powers (on target to be gained by the end of 2016). Implemented the necessary strategic overhaul of a previously mediocre organisation, which subsequently resulted in its merger with a local provider.

Led the strategic and cultural change that led to the College opening its inspirational £65m Wisemore Campus, aligning its mission with the local and regional socio-economic priorities and becoming the first FE institution, at that time, to achieve outstanding grades in all categories in the Ofsted inspection framework. Hugely proud to have created such a long-standing legacy and to have sponsored such wonderful talent and friendships - students, staff, governors and partners.

At that time, the largest college in London. I led the strategic and cultural shift in the recently-merged College to secure QIA Beacon College status in 2006, where we were judged as outstanding for leadership and management, alongside securing a very strong Ofsted outcome and attaining the Queen's Anniversary Prize for programmes for overseas students.
