• Lead the metrics/KPI project team as part of Suncor Process Improvement Program (PIP) Projects group. Developed technical documents for KPI reports.• Managed identification of Business issues (BPML), Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM), Fit/Gap analysis, Solution (process/IT/Report/training). Worked closely with business as a liaison point between projects and business.• Integration lead for managing all finance related changes from Manage People team and coordinating the related change impact with business. • First point of contact in PIP Team (Process Improvement Program) for any technical accounting, IFRS matter, standardization of accounting concepts.• Part of MFER (Manage Finance & External Reporting) Team within the Suncor wide Process Improvement Program.• Review of end-to-end process within Operate and Maintain Asset, Materials & Management Services, etc. to identify gaps and scope for process improvement with focus on increased reliability of asset and reduction / control over cost.

•Consolidation of all Suncor international business unit (E&P) operating in multi currency complex structure for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.•Completion of monthly and quarterly financial package for Corporate consolidations group •Monthly package for Exploration & Production (E&P) division including balance sheet, income statement and consolidation binder.•Assist the Corporate group in preparation of MD&A, Financial Statements, AIF and Press release for E&P division.•Created the accounting policy for depreciating oil & gas assets for various international properties at the time of Petro-Canada & Suncor merger, which were at various stages of lifecycle. •Actively involved with ERP project for consolidations and reporting in BCS/BW reporting. This was major system conversion from Petro-Canada to Suncor ERP. •Preparation of monthly management analysis of the financial statements and business results for various audiences, including preparation of Suncor MRR (Monthly Reporting), QRR (Quarterly Reporting) and ELT (Executive Leadership Team) packages for E&P division.•Setting up, implementing and managing the balance sheet accounts reconciliation process for E&P division.•Worked along with Corporate Accounting Policy group and PWC auditors on documenting various oil & gas properties for impairment test in accordance with IFRS. This includes working with business for various models, economic reserves group and business planning group.•Assisted Treasury group with cash forecast and funding requirements for International operations and Holding companies, determining dividend declaration limit and moving funds through complex holding subsidiary structure.•Documenting and updating the functional currency determination for existing and new companies in E&P division.•Managing on a monthly basis the UK/Aberdeen operations tax review with E&Y London, UK office and resolving any related issues.
