Responsibilities as an Associate Manager, IT• Administration and Patching of SCOM/SCCM environment• Managing the IT Infrastructure• Make sure that IT issues are resolved in timely manner• Handle escalations• Recommend new infrastructure solutions or upgrades for existing environment.• Conduct monthly maintenance and ensure that systems are up• Configure, and support network switches, routers, firewalls• Manage the internal server infrastructure, both physical and virtual systems• Analyze and investigate infrastructure alarms and server availability/utilization reports• Proactively monitor critical systems and network operations; run diagnostic programs as necessary, troubleshoot, and find resolutions to problems• Document processes and procedures, including troubleshooting steps, network diagrams, server build standards, and cross-train other members of the team•Identify problem areas or ongoing issues and communicate to management and team•Develop automation tools and other process efficiencies•Closely manage vendor relationships, including services, contracts and SLAs •Provide backup functions for IT Support Services that include but are not limited to: MS Exchange, Active Directory support
