I joined the law firm of John P. Mahoney, Esq., Attorney at Law, as a Partner in January 2016. From 2005 through 2015, I was a Staff Attorney at the prestigious law firm of Arnold & Porter, LLP, in their litigation practice group. My practice focused on managing e-discovery, multi-district complex civil and criminal investigations, and litigation involving several areas of law, including, but not limited, to Antitrust, FFDCA, False Claims Act, Environmental, Stark, and Federal Anti-Kickback Statues. I planned and executed e-discovery offensive and defensive strategies in state and federal litigation. I successfully organized, trained, and managed discovery teams comprised of contract attorneys and other legal professionals to ensure a well-executed discovery process, while reducing risks and costs associated with the discovery life-cycle. I was also part of a team of attorneys providing guidance on preservation, collection and review of electronically stored information.In addition to my commercial litigation work, I participated in Arnold & Porter LLP's DC Superior Court Pro Bono Program, in which I represented indigent clients in Felony I and Felony II criminal cases.
