Aaron has a track record of growing food & beverage businesses in Asia. He is known for his creativity, passion and work ethic and always offers a fresh point of view. Kiwi born with 13 years in China, Aaron has a rare insight into the development of China’s F&B scene and the growth of New Zealand’s top brands in this elusive market. His network spans Asia and includes decision makers at 5-star hotel chains, large retailers, restaurant groups, bars as well as chefs, importers, distributors, freelancers, creatives and business professionals. Aaron currently divides his time between Tribal Brands Asia, the Shanghai based marketing agency he founded 13 years ago that partners with F&B brands for all of their Asia marketing needs, and the China branch of Eat the Kiwi, the premium New Zealand import and distribution business that Aaron launched in China in 2018 in partnership with ETK global. At the helm of marketing agency Tribal Brands Asia, Aaron has partnered with leading NZ and international brands on their China sales and marketing journeys including New Zealand Trade & Enterprise, 42 Below vodka, T&G Global, Copefrut, Ngāi Tahu Seafood, Gourmand Foods, Montague & Fonterra. Aaron is incredibly passionate about Kiwi F&B products and feels that Asia represents our export future as well as his career in Asia.
