As Head Instructor, I supervised classrooms by coordinating student assignments for the team of 3-6 tutors (including myself) and oversaw the tutoring the programs of 40-50 students (K-12), specifically to ensure consistent implementation of teaching procedures. As a tutor, I gave intensive one-to-one skills-based instruction in math, reading, and writing.

For six consecutive semesters (including summer) I was the teaching assistant for the course Biomechanical Analysis of Movement, a required introductory biomechanics class for Exercise Science undergraduate students. My main responsibility was to lead problem-solving recitations that supplemented the lectures, and sometimes prepare problems in advance to target specific concepts. I also graded homework assignments, graded some exam problems, held office hours outside of class (by appointment), and managed the materials available online using the course management tool Canvas.
