Amarys Dejai Dean holds a B.A. in English; Writing, and resides in Austin, TX.She is a freelance creative writer within the mediums of journalism, creative writing, and copywriting, and she also has screenwriting, editing, and proofreading experience. She has published in multiple literary journals, including Foglifter, Local Wolves, Harbinger Asylum, among others, with more forthcoming. She is currently a staff writer for Hayat Life Magazine, Director of Writing for the Austin-based Glaze Zine, and a music journalist for Punkaganda Press. Alongside writing, she is a multifaceted artist with a focus on visual mediums, primarily photography.In addition to writing, she has over 5 years of customer service experience and over 3 years of education experience. She currently serves as secretary for the Gallery, an Austin based non-profit art organization.
