Under the purview of Dr. Connie Mulligan. In charge of trouble-shooting the PCR protocol for the 5-HTTLPR gene; ran PCR and gel electrophoresis for this and several other genes for the Syrian Project samples.

Under the purview of Dr. Connie Mulligan, aided graduate student Christopher Clukay in his research by extracting DNA and isolating (via site-specific primers), amplifying (via Polymerase Chain Reaction), and identifying (via electrophoresis of agarose gels) target genes for the “Syrian Resilience Project”.
