The main internship tasks include on-site job training during Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), Phase II environmental testing (soil, groundwater, and soil vapor testing), Community Air Monitoring Plan (CAMP) and construction oversight.

Set up and break down equipment used in the lab during the class period, assists professors with demonstrations, as well as using my own knowledge of geology to help students in the class.

Providing academic support to students pursuing coursework in geology. Involves assisting students in understanding geological and environmental concepts, reinforcing classroom learning through one-on-one or group tutoring sessions, and facilitating the development of study skills and strategies conducive to success in geology courses.

Carried out beach surveys and collected sand samples. This was followed up with lab work to determine and map grain size distributions as well as GIS work to compare field data with LIDAR surveys.
