As a Legal Assistant at Hoagland Longo, I provide legal support for five attorneys, specifically focusing on matters ranging from tax law, transactional law, landlord/tenant matters, name changes, and easements on properties for municipal purposes. Some of my daily tasks include the following:• drafting standard form interrogatories and answers/counterclaims for tax appeal-related matters;• preparing legal services agreements for clients who wish to retain the firm for legal representation; and • managing political contributions/events sponsored by the law firm to increase partnerships and client intake.

As a Graduate Assistant for Career Services and the Center for International Studies, I am working on special projects related to employment and study abroad opportunities for Kean students and alumni. This also includes advocating for quality and skills-based internships and employment opportunities for students through the organization of semesterly career fairs, as well as using digital marketing tools to promote Travelearns and third-party provider study abroad programs to increase students’ experiential learning opportunities.
