I am an experienced human rights advocacy specialist focusing on mass atrocity prevention and environmental peacebuilding. I believe in bringing silenced and oppressed voices to the forefront of global consciousness and empowering atrocity survivors to advocate for themselves and their communities. I work with diaspora communities, Congressional offices, U.S. institutions, and international NGOs to push policy initiatives that positively impact the lives of those living in conflict-affected communities. I currently convene an international coalition aimed at protecting the rights of ethnic minorities in the Democratic Republic of Congo and co-lead a coalition advocating for Tigray, Ethiopia, alongside Jewish World Watch.During my academic career, I served on the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Student Board on Genocide Prevention and interned at the Enough Project in Washington, D.C. Both experiences instilled in me a passion for atrocity prevention and an understanding of the role grassroots advocacy can play in making sustainable peace a reality. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Ball State University and a Master of Arts in Holocaust and Genocide Studies from Stockton University of New Jersey.
