At 3dwalk, we offered 3D visualisation services for real estate marketing. We worked with over 120 builders across multiple cities.

Bangalore

Built a stream based compression framework for evaluating performance of different chains of compression algorithms on different types of payloads. Implemented a streaming version of the popular LZ4 compression algorithm.Prototyped multiple service implementations of a novel bigram based fuzzy name search algorithm. Worked with different product groups in Bing Maps to explore the application in address matching. Integrated the algorithm into Microsoft's fuzzy lookup library used in multiple products like SQL, Excel etc.

Worked on building a mirror-aware download manager backend for the FreeBSD ports collection.

Bangalore

Implemented a Bayesian filter for localizing in an indoor location using readings from sensors in a smart phone like accelerometer, compass and gyroscope. Analyzed the effect of tuning various heuristics on the accuracy of localization.

Maintained the repository for free/open source software and educational content in the college campus.

Worked on porting the LwIP network stack to MINIX3 and adding IPv6 support.

Worked on implementing the backend of an image flasher tool used for flashing firmware images onto network routers.
