Head, Service EngagementBharti Airtel Ltd. Apr 2010 - Jul 2012Led on four different, yet inter-related horizontals constituting customer service, customer privacy and regulatory compliance. This role allowed me to focus on creating, implementing and owning policies, systems and processes, that enabled our Service functions to uphold Airtel's promise to customers and to ensure compliance to some Regulatory mandates.- Led the resolution of all critical customer escalations received at Bharti Airtel and the Group offices. This also allowed me to identify and highlight improvement areas in internal processes and systems.- Created and led Airtel’s Online-and-Social Media Service function. We pioneered Online Service and heralded the creation of a brand new customer service and engagement channel for the industry.- Was the Customer Service interface with Regulatory and Governance bodies, Consumer Forums, Advocacy groups- Championed and owned the Customer Privacy and Do-Not-Disturb initiatives at Bharti. - Over time, I contributed to several industry-level consultations which culminated in a few contemporary, well-targeted, effective Regulations. -
