I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a bit about my background and experiences.Since 2004, I have been actively involved in the alcohol industry, gaining extensive knowledge and expertise in various areas. I am proud to hold certifications in mixology, wine education, and beer knowledge, which have allowed me to excel in my career. From humble watering holes to prestigious hotels and private catering events, I have had the privilege of working in diverse settings within the alcohol service industry.Between 2008 and 2020, I operated my own bartending catering business, which took me on exciting journeys throughout California. Unfortunately, like many others, my business was severely impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. During this challenging time, I relocated to Lodi and seized the opportunity to expand my horizons. I had the privilege of learning the art of winemaking from the esteemed Elyse Perry, an award-winning winemaker. Additionally, I gained valuable experience working in the cellar for LVVR and working in the taproom with Highwater Brewery. These ventures were not only fulfilling but also allowed me to further develop my skills and passion.In addition to my involvement in the alcohol industry, I have spent the last 16 years working in the financial sector. I have had the privilege of serving at the first and second largest credit unions in California, starting as a Teller and progressing to various roles involving consumer loans, home loans, IRA and investments, as well as notary services. This experience has provided me with a strong foundation in financial management and customer service.Beyond my professional pursuits, I am an avid artist who finds solace and joy in creating. Karaoke is another passion of mine, as it allows me to express myself through music. Moreover, I am a dedicated gym enthusiast, always seeking to challenge myself physically and mentally. Our services extended from Redding to San Cruz, covering all areas in between. We efficiently managed a dedicated team responsible for setup, breakdown, decor, and active service during dinner. Additionally, I have had the privilege of officiating over 100 marriage ceremonies and 10 pagan handfasting ceremonies. Leveraging my artistic skills, I also designed custom photo backdrops, altars, and guest activities. I had the privilege of working under the mentorship of Award-Winning Winemaker Elyse Perry at Bokisch Vineyards. In this hands-on role, I played a crucial part in the winemaking process, working closely with both Elyse Perry and Assistant Wine-Maker Joel Ohmart, to ensure the production and maintenance of high-quality wines.Key responsibilities included participating in grape harvesting activities, sorting and crushing, and managing various fermentation styles, from foot stomping to using press machines. I conducted routine analysis of fermenting wines, monitored fermentation processes, and assisted in the filling, topping, and emptying of barrels. Filling and performing pump-overs for our wines fermenting in tanks, that also would be responsible for sanitizing after each completion of the fermentation. I also contributed to quality control by sampling and analyzing wines, reporting any deviations from standards to the Cellar Master.In addition to cellar operations, I maintained accurate records of all activities, inputting data into the winery management system. Notably, I played a role in establishing Bokisch's certification with the Lodi Rules, showcasing the winery's commitment to organic and safe vineyard management practices.I ensured safety and compliance with regulatory requirements, adhering to all safety protocols. Collaborating closely with the Bottling vendor, I worked on a built-in bottling line in their truck, hand bottling shiners, and Bokisch's own Olive Oil grown and pressed on site.My journey with the winery began in the Tasting Room, where I utilized my knowledge of wine tasting techniques to sell and educate guests on wines.
