Driven with determination, integrity, and a passion to give back, Amber has continually explored new heights for what it means to be a young professional. Amber started her corporate career at the age of fourteen and has built years of work experience in STEM, Education, and Auto-Financing industries. Amber is now a student University of Richmond studying business and sociology. She is excited to be the first in her family to attend college and continue to be the first of many to create a space for the next student with similar goals.Amber was selected and recently graduated as part of the founding class at Cristo Rey Fort Worth College Prep, which allowed her to maintain a corporate job throughout high school as well as uphold a college prep curriculum. She actively assisted the Work Study Department in recruiting new partners, many of whom are still partners. Through her work experience, she was able to discover a true calling in the business field. Additionally, she found a passion to serve the community of Fort Worth as she saw herself in the younger students she worked with through volunteering opportunities. As a minority, first-gen student herself, she understands the need to break generational cycles within minority communities. To date, Amber has been involved in a number of nonprofits including STAR Sponsorship, Breakthrough Fort Worth, and La Federacion Zacatecana. Her work and values as a young professional have been recognized by titles like Miss Zacatecas, scholarships through the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Hispanic Debutante, Latinas in Progress, and awards and honors sponsored by Cristo Rey Fort Worth.
