I am currently a research associate at Genentech working under Claire Jeong's group. I spearhead the quality control initiatives for all newly acquired stem cell lines, taking charge of ensuring the highest standards and reliability. I effectively plan and carry out qPCRs and immunostaining to ensure the quality of the stem cells, as well as maintain them in culture. My focus extends beyond maintenance to actively enhancing the quality control process, identifying and implementing innovative strategies to elevate the overall quality of our stem cells. Collaborating closely with scientists, I play a pivotal role in supporting and assisting their projects, particularly in maintaining cell cultures and executing neuronal differentiations.
