Responsible for overseeing project from inception to completion. Responsible for estimating fees, creating proposals, communicating with clients, managing younger engineers, keeping on budget and reviewing invoices, managing drafting services for projects, and following through on project deliverables.

Responsible for estimating, proposing on, executing, and documenting numerous design projects of varying scope and materials. * Metal panel design, back-up framing design, and welded and screwed connection design work for City Center, Las Vegas. * Reinforced concrete spread footing wind turbine foundation design and specifications, plan preparation, and familiar with field QC/QA procedures. * Masonry load bearing and shear wall design, joist sizing and reinforcing design, precast plank flooring specification, steel beam and lintel design for building addition.* Steel Connections design expert* Construction hoist and elevator tie-back and foundation design.* Foundation design and plan preparation for pre-fabricated metal building* Wood Building design* Site inspections and report writing

Primarily responsible for producing final plans and providing construction support for various roadway and bridge projects. Managed CADD technicians, utilized technical software including MDX and LPILE, and organized and managed correspondence and calculation files during design. Also provided extensive construction support via shop drawing review and response to Request for Information (RFI) documents. Skilled at communicating and working cooperatively with various parties -- client, contractor, fabricator, etc.

Primarily responsible for geometric layout using Microstation’s Coordinate Geometry program and design of bridge super- and sub-structure elements. Extremely knowledgeable in IDOT Bridge Manual. Responsible for conveying design and aesthetic details on plans while performing my own CADD work. Worked efficiently and cooperatively with a large team of engineers and skilled workers both in the office and in the field. Field experience included inspecting Wacker Drive Bascule bridges and a mixed-use thru-truss and a PPC beam with cast-in-place concrete deck traffic bridge at Ferry Road in Naperville.
