About Amber Edmonds
I work as a Data Scientist on the Algorithms & Inference team at EquipmentShare. My primary focus centers around crafting statistical models for describing and predicting (fingers-crossed) heavy construction equipment behavior. This pertains to constructing extant phenomena from direct observation and to inferring latent structures where necessary. The critical, but secondary, element disseminates inferences about relations to those equipment. I have a few models at EquipmentShare I own where I wrote the SQL level data extraction, the exploratory data analysis, the model building, and the production level deployment. I have a extensive history of didactic training in numerous and varied fields. Most recently deeply delved into agronomy, meteorology, and wind-engineering during my stay at Iowa State. Design of experiments comes from my undergraduate and solidified in graduate. I am always willing to be a consult on the basics of statistical justification for experimentation.
