As a MWR Recreation Assistant at White Sands Missile Range, I supported the quality of life and well-being of military personnel and their families by providing a variety of recreational programs and activities. I used my computer literacy and written communication skills to maintain records, prepare reports, and communicate with customers and staff. I also applied my typing skills to process transactions, reservations, and registrations. Before joining White Sands, I worked as a Radiologist Assistant at Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center, where I assisted radiologists in accurately reporting and submitting their evaluations. I also worked the administrative front end of scheduling patients, directing them to the appropriate areas, providing instructions given by the techs/ radiologists in regards to diagnostics procedures, and entered patient information accurately and confidentially. I gained valuable experience in the field of radiology and healthcare administration, which complemented my bachelor's degree in healthcare administration from Ashford University. I have over ten years of work experience in diverse settings, where I developed my core competencies of teamwork, customer service, and problem-solving. I am passionate about enhancing the health and happiness of the communities I serve, and I am always eager to learn new skills and expand my knowledge.
