Muningu is an African fusion band based in Brazzaville, the Republic of Congo, and features four Congolese musicians and an American singer. Founded in 2012, the group has quickly made a name for itself, performing on television (Congo Vibes) and at national and international music festivals including FESPAM and La Fête de la Musique. They have partnered with UNESCO, Biso Na Biso, The French Cultural Center and the US Embassy to provide unique musical programming at cultural events in Brazzaville. They can also be seen regularly at the luxury hotel, Hotel Mikhael, where they play as a house band. Muningu’s eclectic debut album, Sans Frontiéres, reflects their diverse backgrounds and features songs in French, English, Lingala and Lari. The album combines a strong flavor of traditional Congolese sounds with pop, jazz, folk and world music to create a distinctive, modern sound.

Taught Baby And Me class, ages 6 months to 3 years old and Toddler and Me class ages 2-4. Classes is in a sing-a-long format, supplemented by other movement and rhythmic activities to enhance cognitive growth

- Teaching assistant to the voice and speech faculty. Team-taught graduate level voice/speech class. Classroom assistant to undergraduate and graduate level courses, tutored students in accents and dialects and Shakespeare, proctored exams, and other duties as needed.

Responsible for teaching a wide range of performing arts activities; both through the Company and as an Artist-In Residence at other education institutions.

Cultivated a private studio of 20 voice students ranging in age from 10-18. Lessons focused predominantly on vocal technique and musicianship, but also covered acting and auditioning for the stage.

Full-Time classroom teacher in a magnet school for the performing arts, grades 9-12: taught classes in vocal techniques, basic musicianship (and theory), IPA, acting a song, group/solo singing and acting. Was responsible for curriculum development and concert planning. Reinvented and restructured the curriculum for a 4-year conservatory program for vocal music studies.
