I am responsible for overseeing daily activities of the department, supervising a staff of 7 with a yearly budget of over 500K. I am responsible for fiscal sustainability of department through grant-writing, research and other fundraising efforts. Provide ongoing technical assistance to staff and ensure quality control; maintain department updated on immigration law developments. I oversee coordination and implementation of marketing and outreach efforts targeting the refugee, asylee and immigrant population of San Diego. I regularly liaise with the US DHS and network with local service providers.

Responsible for providing administrative support for the department in addition to providing comprehensive immigration services to refugees and immigrants. Oversees daily activities of department serving 4,000 clients annually; supervises six staff members; monitors caseload; provide ongoing technical assistance to staff and ensure quality control; maintain department staff updated on immigration law developments; monitor grant-funded projects; coordinate and implement marketing & outreach efforts targeting the refugee, asylee and immigrant populations of San Diego; liaise with the US Dept. of Homeland Security and US Dept. of State immigration officials and network with local service providers and attorneys.
