Administer, coordinate and manage all Substance Use Disorder programs and/or services. Supervise staff and evaluate program performance; including effectiveness of the substance use services provided; and make reports and recommendations regarding funding and service plans. Carry a case load and participate in the delivery of emergency services to the BBHW service area. Participate as a member of the BBHW management team. Assist in the hiring, discipline and termination of all staff whose primary defined position responsibility is in substance use services. Assist in development and implementation of: Budgets, Policies & Practices, Procedures. Standards. Lead and/or participate in planning and analysis sessions regarding future design for clinical service implementation. Lead in analysis, design and negotiation for new or expanded behavioral health services. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with BBHW staff and community stakeholders. Prepare correspondence, reports, and other materials, and maintain records as required.

Lead the creation of organizational tools, documents, forms, procedures, policies for organizational goals, programs, and processes proposing these to the Management Team, provide assistance and leadership with the roll-out of proposals approved by the Management Team. Assist and lead the orientation of new clinical staff and interns. Provide clinical supervision to addiction counselor trainees. Assist with internal clinical management. Participated in the process of developing agency related documentation, clinical process and workflows with new EMR. Maintain case load and participate in the delivery of emergency services to the BBHW service area.

Provide professional services to clients and family members, assess individual and family strengths and needs, in various settings including office, home based, and community settings. Provide and assure the provision of strengths-based, individual, family and outcome focused comprehensive services. Develop or assist in development of a strengths-based, individual, family and outcome focused comprehensive treatment plan to address the needs of assigned clients and families. Provide individual, couple, group and/or family intervention. Coordinate all service provision. Monitor service provision to determine whether services are meeting identified needs. Lead in assuring appropriate service changes when necessary. Assist in accessing other community resources. Act as an advocate within the community services system. Lead and/or participate in the creation of a treatment team for any identified client, often together with their family Lead and/or participate in clinical team meetings. Interact with recognized community resources and other community members to assure the development and maintenance of strengths-based, family- and outcome-focused plans and action. Provide emergency, educational, treatment and/or supportive services to clients and family members; or to anyone within the BBHW service area. Evaluate performance and effectiveness of all services provided to assigned clients and family members. Participate in planning and analysis regarding future design for one or more aspects of behavioral health services. Work collaboratively with social service agencies, schools, hospitals, courts and other community resources. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and community agencies’ staff members. Complete all required documentation, correspondence, reports and other materials; and, maintain records as required.
