About Amber Lyon-Colbert

My research involves water quality, climate change and emerging disease with a focus on rural health outcomes related to environmental exposures. I have developed two study-abroad courses to give students new health-related opportunities abroad and plan to continue this work. I love teaching and connecting with students and helping them expand their world view. A special interest area for me is integrating new technology and methods for online teaching to reach a greater student network.
