I’m an experienced Clinical Informatics Nurse with 20+ years of demonstrated history working in the hospital & healthcare industry. Half of my nursing career is in information technology, where I was an early implementer of the electronic health record and computerized physician order entry. My key role is educating clinical staff to ensure we meet regulatory requirements such as the Promoting Interoperability program. I have extensive critical care experience caring for all patients and conditions. Often, I served as a mentor for nursing students and new staff. Having worked as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor, I ensured each nursing student received the most beneficial clinical experience within the hospital setting. I earned my bachelor's in Science degree focused on Registered Nursing from Northern Michigan University in 2005. I’m very action-oriented, assertive, and eager to learn. I am passionate about technology and healthcare and deeply interested in leadership and high-performing habits. To keep my fire lit, I’m looking for a challenge and a change.
