I joined Tomorrow's Education remote from sabbatical in Canada because of the desire to work more onsustainability. - Founded Makerist in 2013 as an e-learning platform for creative hobbies - Pivoted to focus on marketplace for digital patterns by 2017; enabling independent creative designers sell to our large community of makers : over 60,000 patterns onsite to choose from.- Built up the largest online sewing and knitting communities in Europe with >1.2 Mio fans- Responsible for international expansion - www.makerist.fr and www. makerist.com - with localised inventory- Achieved profitability in 2020 with high seven digit revenues- Sold Makerist to the fabfab group in 2020 for 13.2 Mio

- Advise the CEO on strategy & business development in the wedding industry

- Built 1001hochzeitstische as the E-Commerce sister site to 1001hochzeiten with focus on wedding gift registry- Aquired premium brands and partners to list their products online, many for the first time : Villeroy & Boch, Robbe & Berkin, KPM Porzellan, WMF - etc - Successfully sold 1001hochzeitstische to move on to Makerist in 2013

- Built as an online wedding magazine with digital planning tools and listings feature for service providers - Lead generation + Traffic for E-commerce site -> Content - Community- Commerce model - Strong focus on SEO, content marketing and social communities

- Responsible for online and print communications at the global HQ of Transparency International, including website and newsletter, with focus on digitalization.- Especially motivated to communicate powerful stories from TI partners and initiatives around the world.
